| hey everybody , i'm just back from an one week trip to Paris! in one short word: Incredible we arrived monday afternoon and immediately started shopping on les champs elysees - just till midnight... it was really nice to buy some cds at this time because in germany i would not no a single shop having opened longer than 20h . but anyway, the following days we visited most important places in paris - just until our feet didnt want to walk anymore . i had also the opportunity to meet two girls im regularly chatting with from paris- a very nice day, although i have to admit that understanding native french speaking people is quite hard, espacially if they talk normal (which means not slowly enough for foreigner *smile*).
if you re interested, i'm gonna tell you a bit more of this trip later on, when i a bit more energy
all the best and cya martin |

| heey guys, just to let you know i'm still alive but unfortunately i dont have much spare time right now since we are preparing for our Abitur (BAC for the french, graduation for the english ) a 300 pages book und i have to admit i completely underestimated the necessary organisation and work... to keep it short, its very time consuming.
as for my Paris report, it will be following within some weeks because i decided to post the one we are also going to release in your book - just gotta translate it for you ;-) . so if you're still interested, thank you very< much for your patience .
btw, i hope everybody is doing fine^^

| thanks a lot Liesa!^^
i hope you did end up with a good result for your Abi and that everything went fine without any great obstacles ;-) . but indeed you're right - a lot to do, and i dont even talk about what is most important: learning for the final exams... but i think im not the only who doesnt start learning early enough ... but anyway, i think it ll be ok - nevertheless i'm a bit afraid of the the zentralabitur since im havin french as a LK... but shouldnt be that bad (hopefully...)
but nevertheless im still trying to stay tuned with everything concerning our favourite musical - but unfortunately i do not find anyone who is willing to join me watching the musical in paris... and i have to admit i do not want to go there just on my own... i would feel a bit lost in this not-so-big-city
so i am really longing for the release of the DVD Collector - of course i had to preorder it (just did it on alapge since they offer a great service and an amazingly short time for delivery ^^)... so lets see what awaits us there
ok, have a good night and cya ;-) martin |

| Hey hey! Hmm...my results...ehem...they weren't bad at all, but also not the best. But I'm okay with them, so no problem *lol* Oh yees, I remember, I started pretty late to learn too... But it was okay...Happily it's over for me hehe Oooh I would immediatelly come with you to Paris to see the show but I don't know when and if there are good seats available?! Hmm...I don't know... And yeeees I'm looking sooo much forward to the DVD too! I haven't preordered it, but I have the plan to drive to Starsbourg at november 18th. And I really hope to be able to buy it there!!! And also the solo-album of Manu hihi See you! Bye! Liesa _________________

| hey liesa,
yes, as always things could have turned out better - it ll be the same with my results next year *lol*. as for paris, there are still a couple of acceptable places left for end of december
that would be great if you could go to buy the in a "real" shop - for me it was in paris the first time in years that i was able to buy a cd i wanted to have in a cd shop (somehow the music released here in germany doesnt attract me so much...)
and yes, Emmanuels album - im also gonna purchase it and im really interested in this first solo kind of thing...... but i think i gotta wait some time since the shipping costs are not that cheap when im always ordering in france... but hey, im used to be patient^^

| Oh yes, it's the same for me with the music. That which we can buy in "our" stores, isn't really my type, most of the time. But fortunatelly Strasbourg is just 2 hours with the train from where I live... So it's quite easy to go there. Patience is not my strongest character lol (Can I say it like that?? lool whatever, you understand, I hope ) When I want to get something, I want it immediatelly...loool Unfortunatelly that's not possible most of the time...sooo I have to be patient... Oooh and why are you saying that to me, with the places?!?! Argh... I suuuuuffer looool _________________

| hi everybody^^,
unfortunatly it took way longer too complete our report than we hoped it would, but finally we have a result! when we had written it it was a text-only file with approx. 6 pages in word, but with some layouting techniques we could boil it down to 4 pages including some pics.
http://www.david-charvet.de/franzefahrtbericht.pdf
i hope you enjoy the result! it is just the german version yet since it would have taken too much time to do a translation right now, but as soon as i am done with my final exams i hope to have some time to translate it...
all the best martin
p.s: maybe there ll be a sequel for this report? two friends of mine and i will go to Chris concert on June 6th in Paris! Really looking forward to it... |
